My final project for university focused on the issues fast fashion causes in the environment.

 

I decided to create a world where a chemical leak had caused landfills of fabric to come alive as creatures, who decided enough was enough and took over the world, forcing humans into hiding.

 

My project was named the ‘FASHION APOCALYPSE’ and featured 4 main characters; Polly, Matt, Tweedy and Jean, named after different fabrics. I created them by photo-graphing clothes on a dress stand and brought them to life through illustration and adding monster like facial features!
